Kimmie Gilead 2005 Pulitzer

I finished my first entry. It was "Gilead" by Marilynne Robinson. I have my 2-cent blurb at KimmiesKrap. I can't claim to give good reviews so I just write about the basics.

"Gilead" is a letter from a dying 77-year-old preacher to his young son. He is trying to see that the young boy gets an idea of who his father was. He tells him about his family history and the relationships between fathers, friends, and God. "Gilead" is a book that should be read slowly and savored.
